Don't Hate Me Because...

I have two idols that are pretty much on the opposite end of the spectrum....?!

My first is Mother Theresa. She was an amazing woman. Her love for God and others is something to be looked up to- not just the spiritually, but also just in the fact that she (and other nuns/monks) live their lives to serve other people's needs before they even stop to think of their own. Yes it is the way they choose to live, but you have to be called (really want to do it to do it). She was a smart woman. I know because of  the research I've done and because of my favorite quote of hers.
Not only does it makes me smile, it also makes me teary eyed. Google (yes I just "said" that) her and "Life" quote. In a few weeks I hope to have my version of the quote [inked] on me forever! ^.^
"Life is a dream, realize is. Life is a song sing it. Life is a challenge, meet it. Life is an adventure, dare it."
And then there's the most notorious blonde. None other than Ms. Monroe. She has a lot of notable quotes yet this is the one that touches me most. She wasn't a dumb woman, most that act it aren't at all- but are rather intelligent for playing at "air-headedness".
"This life is what you make it. no matter what, you're going to mess up sometimes, it's a universal truth. But the good part is you get to decide how you're going to mess it up. Girls will be your friends- they'll act like it anyway. But just remember: some come, some go. The ones that stay with you through everything- they're your true best friends. don't let go of them. Also remember. Sisters make the best friends in the world. As for lovers, well they come and go too. And [babe], I hate to say it, most of them, actually pretty much all of them, are going to break your heart. But you can't give up because if you give up, you'll never find your soul mate. You'll never find that half that makes you whole and that goes everything. Just because you fail once doesn't meant you're gonna fail at everything. Keep trying, hold on, and always believe in yourself, because if you don't then who will [sweetie]? So keep your head high, keep your chin up, and most importantly, keep smiling because life's a beautiful thing & these so much to smile about".
