We are keeping a watch on the weather at the moment. Isaac hit land once already and is going to come back to slam the same places AGAIN! Nature is cruel, but it's life. Something some of us have to deal with!
Andi had no power for a week over the summer, so she feels for the people displaced. Unlike them though she returned home to all her worldly possessions & knows she's blessed to have been able to do so. She's particularly watchful of the impending storm/s as she has close friends down south. She will likely keep you up to date on this natural disaster.
As with everyone else, our thoughts go out to the ones who have lost loved ones and their homes. Go to here to W.P for info (below is a bigger image from the site)
:/ I hope not! I'm glad to report that even though it's annoying and pricey to recover- this was not a bad occurrence.. nothing too terrible has come from this storm. Yes some families have been taken from their homes but as of now there are no lives lost or major damage! Some people [of course] disregarded the mandatory evacuation but they were rescued... I'm sorry but really?! ugh. Leave when they tell you to! They do it for YOUR safety! People!

UPDATE:
The levees held up! All that money (14.5 BILlion!) passed their tests. Seems like Isaac was more of a talker than doer on the hurricane scale... but there is some worry that since it's so slow moving and massive, there could still be flooding in Mississippi and Alabama. :/ I hope not!
