Rundown: Obama-Rama!

Sorry for the mic issues in the beginning. We had had issues with Chrome and thought we weren't going to even be able to go live! We got it all fixed at last, yaay, thanks to Nate! Since the intros are cut out- the guests were: Kiks, my friend Nate & my road dog Tim! We also had another [silent guest] who was too shy to speak but was in the background giving his input, so thanks to him too :) Thanks also to the chatters who gave us their opinions and feedback, that's always fun- gives us more to discuss.

Basically we just discussed the different issues that went on with the ballots, and our opinions on the candidates and OUR excitement for the win! We are a group of Dems yes, but we would have happily welcomed the opposing views too of course. Though we are all smart, none of us are political experts, we just wanted to conversate with other intelligent people about our thoughts and concerns. WE are the future. We are the next group of grown ups. It's our responsibility to step up and take care of "the world". It's our job to support President Obama and do OUR part on making this place the one he [knows] it can/SHOULD be.

I cried multiple times listening to his speech. [I skipped around so if it doesn't make sense towards the end of it, that's why) ;p. He said exactly what I was hoping he would! "Yes we can! The best is yet to come!" and he touched on the subjects they didn't really get into during the debates! Speaking of!! Congratulations to MD for their win on Gay Marriage rights! Finally human equality! Just sucks, as I said, that it's even an issue at all!

Now--- let's get on with it and make things happen people! Let's step up and do what needs to be done! we can't sit around waiting for someone else to fix our problems! We have to get in there and help!! It's not just Obama's country, it's OUR'S! Let's take pride in it! Let's make it amazing! ^.^

AFTER NOTE:
-Andi, Tim, Nate & Kik's [and silent guest] touched on some more issues off air. Here's what you missed.

- (as you see in the picture) Maine, Maryland, Minnesota and Washington have joined Massachusetts, Connecticut, Iowa, Vermont, New Hampshire, New York, and DC in the legalization of same sex marriage. There are still 31 states that have constitutional amendments banning it and 6 that still have laws against it! I don't think it's anyone's business to take away the right to say who we can and can't love. ONE DAY it will be a moot issue!

-Colorado & Washington voted for 21 and older citizens [tourists..?] the right to have up to an ounce of  Mary Jane! There are people worried about Amsterdam-like tourism, of course, but think of it on the positive note! Not only are the people there going to be "nicer".... and "happier"... the money coming from the visitors and the ones who partake will help the economy! Really. Yes. four of the speakers last night all are open about the right to choose if you want to buy/partaker or not. I think if you can make something as alcohol legal, something is calming and medicinal as Mary should be legal too! It helps so many people with so many health issues, why would you want to keep something that helps away from them!
It will be regulated, sold & taxed like alcohol is. That's why it's a 21 year and up age limit. It is still an illegal drug according to Federal Law. Of course :p Here's a list for you curious ones: medical marijuana

there was lots more chatter about Romney's loss and we thank him for his hard work as well, but wish him a nice quiet life NOT as our president!
